I love these mountains, the people who live here, and the values that make this community special.

I’m running for Chairman of the Swain County Board of Commissioners because I believe we can preserve our mountain heritage while creating opportunities for future generations. Our children and grandchildren should be able to find good jobs, afford a home, and build a life right here in Swain County.

Throughout my career in public service, I’ve learned how to lead organizations, manage taxpayer resources responsibly, and bring people together to solve complex problems. I believe that experience can help our county meet today’s challenges while preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities.
